Head of Global Quality - No7 Beauty Company

About the role

An exciting and rare opportunity has arisen to work in quality for a global, fast growing beauty business. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Head of Quality to lead our quality management initiatives across all our brands and markets. The ideal candidate will have a competent background in quality control and assurance within the CPG industry, along with a passion for driving continuous improvement and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

As Head of Global Quality for No7 Beauty Company, you will be the pivotal in leading the creation and evolution of the quality framework and quality culture which ensures the No7 Beauty Company brands in all markets.

This is a high profile, fully global role which involves collaboration with colleagues in most markets including EU, USA, and China, as well as a vast array of external and internal stakeholders.

We're looking for a thought leader, who can quickly mobilise and translate strategy into operational delivery across No7 Beauty Company, to enable us to meet our key goals and initiatives.

Key responsibilities

  • Leads the No7 global quality team to ensure all KPI’s, regulatory and group quality requirements are complied with.
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive quality strategy that aligns with the company's objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee all aspects of quality control processes, including product testing, inspection, and validation, to ensure adherence to specifications and standards.
  • Owns the development, deployment, and maintenance of the QMS ensuring compliance with all global and WBA requirements and the regulatory requirements for No.7 BC product classifications.
  • Ensures effective triage, investigation and management of consumer complaints & feedback ensuring any required improvement activity is managed and communicated effectively.
  • Leads the management of serious incident investigations ensuring appropriate business escalation and stakeholder management as required.
  • Ensures that product quality is maintained in all markets throughout the product lifecycle.
  • Provides leadership to the No7 global quality team ensuring on-going delivery, ensures effective performance management and development.
  • Ensures market insights and latest industry thinking is adopted to drive a culture of continuous improvement across the team (people/process/systems)

What you’ll need to have

  • Leader with a proven track record of developing and leading teams of subject matter experts.
  • High level of understanding of quality within a product/brand/CPG setting.
  • Excellent and impactful influencer with proven senior stakeholder management experience.
  • Well-developed ability to remain calm and lead through serious incident investigations and demonstrate pragmatic decision-making skills.

It would be great if you also have

  • Knowledge of the regulatory landscapes for cosmetics and SPF
