FAQs

Answer

Within the Boots Opticians store management team, we have a variety of roles such as being a Team Leader, Assistant Manager or Hub Manager.

Answer

At Boots Opticians we are proud to support the ongoing development of our people. We support a Dispensing Opticians programme that is equivalent to a degree and we can also offer apprenticeships for leaders.

Answer

As a leader, you would go through our Step Into Optics programme, which consists of seven stages of learning. Each stage will include some E-Learning modules and will conclude with either a virtual training session or a practical training day. We also sometimes ask for leadership experience (depending on the size of the store you are applying to), but would provide you with the optics knowledge if you came from a retail background.
