We are looking for a passionate and friendly Optometrist to join us in OUR BRAND-NEW York practice!

Whether you are taking your OSCEs in the summer, Newly Qualified or experienced, we'd love to hear from you!

We can accommodate for both Full-time and Par-time rotas!

This practice is moving to a new location in mid-July, and will be kitted out with brand-new equipment (including OCT, phoropters and Optomap) and up-to-date Boots look and feel!

You will be working alongside a talented and experienced team of 18, including a dispensing Optician, Contact Lens Optician, 2 other residents and a pre-reg Optometrist. Both resident Optometrists have over 20+ years of experience each!

About the role

As an Optometrist with us you'll be providing excellent customer and patient care. Working alongside the Practice Manager, Optical Teams and Clinical Governance Optometrists. You’ll create a culture where everyone is passionate about doing the right thing.
  • Using your passion for delivering patient care you'll work with colleagues to deliver a positive customer journey.
  • Bringing your vibrant personality into the day to day running of the practice – working with your colleagues to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Building longstanding relationships – not only with colleagues and customers but with healthcare professionals in the local community

What you’ll need to have
  • Fully qualified / soon to be GOC registered Optometrist
  • Additional registration with the relevant NHS body
  • Fluent speaking English
  • Passion for patient care
