About the role
We are seeking a Finance Analyst to join the Boots UK Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team, supporting the Operations function. You will cover key area of Store Payroll.
As a Finance Analyst, you will take a leading role in supporting management of Store Payroll costs and will contribute to wider FP&A programs. We offer an excellent opportunity for career development and to gain experience to support progression into more senior finance roles.
You will collaborate closely with team members across Operations and Finance, including senior leadership, providing financial insight and support that drives performance and informed decision-making.
Key responsibilities
Business partnering
Be the finance Analyst of designated teams by:
· Act as the dedicated Finance Analyst for assigned operational teams.
· Lead month-end reporting, and variance analysis processes.
· Help develop detailed budgets, forecasts, and Target Amendments (TAs).
· Manage financial input templates, ensuring accuracy and transparency in collaboration with the Operations team.
· Contribute to or lead ad-hoc financial projects within the wider Operations FP&A team.
· Identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
What you’ll need to have
These are the essential experience needed to succeed in this role.
Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent).
Demonstrated experience in management reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills; prior experience with SAP is advantageous.
