What you'll be doing

As Beauty Assistant Manager, you'll report into the General Manager of the store and lead a large team across our premium beauty operation, role modelling exceptional customer service while delivering strong commercial performance.

Leading a team of over 54 Beauty Specialists, you'll create a positive, engaging and high-performing culture where colleagues feel supported, motivated and able to develop their careers while delivering an outstanding customer experience.

You will:

  • Use commercial reports, data and insight to identify trends and drive performance improvements
  • Ensure all operational, compliance and health and safety standards are consistently maintained
  • Lead the beauty business confidently in the absence of the Store Manager, taking accountability for decisions and performance

  • Proven experience managing and developing large teams, with the ability to coach, inspire and improve performance
  • A genuine passion for beauty, cosmetics and delivering exceptional customer experiences
  • A strong commercial mindset with evidence of driving sales and achieving performance targets
  • Proven ability to take ownership of performance and lead teams to deliver results
  • Strong organisational and planning skills, including rota management, absence management and workload prioritisation
  • Confidence using reports, data and insight to make decisions and drive commercial performance
  • A clear understanding of operational standards, compliance and customer service excellence
  • A collaborative leadership style and ability to build strong relationships across teams and brands

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience working closely with beauty brands to drive engagement and sales performance
  • Experience delivering beauty events, launches and customer engagement activities
  • A recognised beauty qualification or relevant industry experience

Please note: This is a specialist beauty leadership opportunity. Given the scale of the operation and the size of the team, we're looking for candidates with both proven management experience and a strong beauty background. Experience in beauty is essential to succeed in this role.
