In the Space, Range and Location Analytics team within the UK’s leading pharmacy-led health and beauty retailer, we are responsible for designing, developing and delivering the data, models and insights which allow us to give our customers what they want, where and when they want it.

About the role
We’re looking for someone who has the gift of translating complex analytics into easily understandable insights and principles.
You will encompass Space, Range and Geospatial modelling and insights, and management of our Test and Learn capability. This opportunity is for those of you interested in creating and implementing real retail solutions from your analytical thinking and capability.
You’ll be supported in the role by a diverse team of experienced peers and leaders as you meet the evolving requirement of the retail analytics environment
What you’ll need to have
These are the essential skills or experience needed to succeed in this role.
You’re a problem solver, comfortable working both independently, and collaboratively in a team. Excited by taking on responsibility and looking to create value from data and create the insight and tools to solve business problems.
Required Skills
Relevant previous experience or a degree with quantitative elements (i.e. includes statistics modules), such as Maths, Physics, Geography, Psychology.
Logical thinking and problem solving, experience using relational databases for example
Stakeholder management experience and strong communication skills, you will be presenting complex results to less technical audiences.
Experience evaluating trials through implementing a robust methodology.
Proficiency in a coding language such as SQL, Python, R etc.
Experience with data visualisation tools such as PowerBI

Experience with GIS software and techniques.
Demonstrable record of delivering results in a commercial environment.
Ability to deal well with ambiguity and an expert in prioritisation of needs.
Expertise in working with large structured and unstructured data sets.
