About the role

The Instant Delivery Assistant Manager will report into the Instant Delivery Manager and support in trading this unique delivery proposition working with our key partners. They will be responsible for trading, optimising, and driving the performance of the Instant Delivery proposition to our customers.

What you’ll need to have

Our instant delivery team sits within the wider boots Digital team and are responsible for supporting the trading and management of our instant delivery proposition. Reporting into the Instant Delivery Manager, responsibilities include: ·

  • Owning, driving, and managing the implementation of the instant delivery proposition working closely with our partners and Boots stakeholders to inspire the best performance ·

  • Increase revenue through increased customer acquisition, conversion and growing range/inventory and awareness ·

  • Optimise the range, building the promotional plan and working on development projects to improve the customer experience and expand the offering further ·

  • Building relationships and working with multiple all partners to guide the performance of instant delivery proposition across Boots channels and partner platforms

  • Responsible for legal and safe trade of the categories on partner platforms while building and reporting on the sales performance and KPI’s

  • Will be heavily involved in evolution of partner propositions and participate in project continuously improve the apps and capabilities

  • Line management of Instant Delivery Assistants supporting with workload and development


It would be great if you also have

  • Coming from a previous Category, eCommerce or Trading role ·

  • Experience with same-day delivery platforms or third-party delivery providers or marketplaces is preferable but not essential ·

  • Understanding of online trading levers and performance marketing ·

  • Confident in using data and insights to drive performance and in building and delivering plans ·

  • Strong internal and external stakeholder management – confident engaging, influencing and holding to account peers, stakeholders and 3rd parties (e.g. product suppliers) ·

  • Confident in Office systems including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word
