This is a brilliant opportunity for a confident, patient-focused pharmacist to join a fast paced and intense Healthcare Centre Store in Derby City Centre. We are looking for a highly motivated individual who enjoys working under pressure, is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, has strong communication skills and the ability to adapt to changing business needs.

The pharmacy delivers a huge range of NHS and private services and dispenses a high volume of items, also supplying medication for local Care Homes.

There are 4 other store based pharmacists, plus you will work alongside a multidisciplinary team which includes Dispensers, Health and Wellness Specialists, Health Clinic Specialists, One Health Ambassadors and a BUPA GP. You would also support and tutor the trainee pharmacist in store. We would welcome any pharmacist that is an Independent Prescriber (IP).

As the store is close to Boots Head Office, you will get the exciting opportunity to pilot new initiatives and services which often help shape the future rollout of innovations across the business.

The pharmacy is open 08:30-18:00 Monday to Saturday and 10:30-16:30 on Sundays. The position covers 40 hours over Monday-Saturday, working an alternative Saturday on/off. You would not usually be required to work on Sunday.

All required training for services would be provided, should they be required.
