What you’ll be doing

In this pivotal role, you will lead initiatives that enhance operational efficiency, ensuring our warehousing processes are optimised for success. You will report to and oversee a dedicated team, driving collaboration and innovation to achieve our goals.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and implement strategies to improve operational efficiency across the warehousing function.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for improvement and drive change.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to enhance productivity.
  • Lead and mentor your team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and best practices.

What you’ll need to have (our must-haves)

  • Proven experience in operational management within a warehousing or logistics environment.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent leadership and team management capabilities.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and change management.
  • Effective communication skills to engage and inspire your team.

It would be great if you also have

  • Experience with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems (WMS).
  • A background in project management.
