About the role
The FP&A Manager is key to the insightful analysis of our decisions across the Group.
Your role will involve ensuring Executives are appropriately informed on performance and supporting the development of finance processes to manage the approval of capital investment and strategically significant programs.
Help establish a dedicated Corporate FP&A function to deliver core financial planning and analysis activities for the International segment, operating independently from other departments.
Collaborate with central teams supporting international retail operations (including Boots) and Germany Wholesale.
Act as a key partner in providing analysis to guide our decisions across the segment.
Support development of finance processes to report on business financial performance, including monthly reporting, three-year plans, forecasts, and budgets.
Key responsibilities
Manage our performance reporting, including KPIs, strategic planning (3-year plans), budgeting, and management reporting (forecasting included).
Support the International strategic planning process, from strategy development to execution of strategic programs.
Lead the creation and communication of actuals, forecast, budget, and three-year plan calendars to relevant stakeholders.
Ensure central planning and analytics systems consolidate actual performance data alongside plans, budgets, and forecasts.
Deliver consolidated performance reports to Executives for the International segment across all planning cycles.
What you'll need to have
Graduate level degree or equivalent qualification;
Role requires a commercially minded and inquisitive person, keen to understand the drivers of our performance;
Strong analytical skills are required to be successful in the role, and the ability to think strategically coupled with delivery skills;
You will be an excellent at, both verbal and written, at all levels and across all departments and can write business reports;
We are looking for a Self-starter, who is motivated and ambitious,
Able to listen, as well as able to challenge in a constructive and positive manner;
Ideally, you should have an interest or experience in using new technologies and work collaboratively with teams across businesses/markets.
