WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW
The Instant Delivery Assistant Trading Manager will report into the Instant Delivery Manager and be responsible for the account management and budget delivery of the Instant Delivery proposition, working with our key partners to drive trading performance and growth.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Our instant delivery team sits within the wider boots Digital team, reporting into the Instant Delivery Manager. Responsibilities include:
- Owning the day to day management of the Uber Eats account, acting as the primary commercial contact and building a strong partner relationship to deliver mutual growth, including weekly/monthly trading reviews (agenda, KPI pack, action log) and quarterly business reviews.
- Driving performance against agreed targets and KPIs, delivering the account budget and commercial P&L, and reporting on weekly performance, sales and conversion and completing monthly performance reviews.
- Managing commercial agreements with Uber Eats, including co-investment and promotional funding.
- Leading the development and delivery of the Uber Eats Joint Business Plan, negotiating annual objectives and commitments with the partner.
- Driving revenue growth through customer acquisition, conversion and awareness, including optimising the range and building the promotional plan to improve the customer experience.
- Managing internal and external stakeholders, confidently engaging, influencing and holding partners and cross-functional teams to account.
- Ensuring legal and safe trade of the categories on the Uber Eats platform, working with compliance and category teams.
- Supporting project work to improve the Instant Delivery proposition, experience and capabilities.
- Line management of an Instant Delivery Assistant supporting workload and development.
WHAT YOU’LL NEED TO HAVE
- Coming from a previous Category, eCommerce or Trading role
- Experience with same-day delivery platforms or third-party delivery providers or marketplaces is preferable but not essential
- Understanding of online trading levers and performance marketing
- Confident in using data and insights to drive performance and in building and delivering plans
- Strong internal and external stakeholder management – confident engaging, influencing and holding to account peers, stakeholders and 3rd parties (e.g. product suppliers)
- Experience managing budgets and commercial P&L, with the ability to track spend, forecast accurately and deliver against financial targets.
- Commercial acumen with confidence negotiating and managing commercial agreements with third-party partners.
- Confident in Office systems including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint & Word
IT WOULD BE GREAT IF YOU ALSO HAVE
- A great communicator who enjoys the challenge of cross functional working
- A passion for learning more about the Instant Delivery Channel, the Uber Eats platform and the commercial plan
- Knowledge of how to leverage data and insights to shape strategy and measure success.
- Experience managing a specific partner or marketplace account (e.g. Uber Eats, Deliveroo, Just Eat).
- Experience with joint business planning and co-investment funding models.
