Combining exceptional sourcing and headhunting expertise with strong commercial awareness, you will influence hiring outcomes, drive continuous improvement, and champion best practice across the team.

You will act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, using market intelligence, workforce insights, and talent trends to shape recruitment strategies and support long-term workforce planning. What You’ll Be Doing

As part of our TA team, you will:

  • Deliver end-to-end recruitment across a portfolio of complex and hard-to-fill healthcare vacancies.
  • Utilise proactive sourcing, headhunting, networking, and talent mapping techniques to attract exceptional talent.
  • Partner with senior business leaders to develop strategic recruitment plans and provide talent market insight.
  • Lead and role model best practice recruitment, driving consistency, quality, and continuous improvement across the team.
  • Coach and mentor Talent Acquisition Partners, supporting their development and sharing expertise.
  • Analyse recruitment performance data to identify opportunities, influence decision-making, and improve outcomes.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines to reduce future hiring risk and support workforce planning.
  • Collaborate with wider People teams, Employer Brand, and external partners to strengthen Boots' attraction strategy.
  • Lead or contribute to recruitment projects that enhance processes, candidate experience, and hiring manager engagement.
  • Deputise for the Talent Acquisition Manager when required, demonstrating leadership and ownership across the function.

  • Significant experience delivering recruitment in competitive, target-driven environments.
  • Proven success sourcing and securing talent within challenging or specialist markets.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence at senior levels.
  • Experience coaching, mentoring, or developing others.
  • A data-led, commercially minded approach to recruitment.
  • A passion for delivering exceptional candidate and hiring manager experiences.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, always looking for opportunities to challenge the status quo and raise standards.
