What you'll be doing
We have exciting and varied role sitting on the No7 Supply Chain Leadership group to cover all aspects of Customer Supply Chain (including Distribution operations) for the UK and EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa) regions.
This role has 2 direct reports and a total team of 78. Occasional travel is required to 3PL providers and internal operations based on the Isle of Wight.
Key responsibilities
The No7 Beauty company exists as a Consumer Packaged Goods Company within the broader Boots Group. Our Supply Chain team drives the service and cost efficacy of our 5 brands across internal and 3rd party customers spanning the globe.
This role leads the Customer Supply Chain activities for the UK and EMEA region. Responsibilities include:
Strategic, operational and tactical responsibility for Supply Chain across No7 Beauty Company UK & EMEA regions, International Retail business and Liz Earle Operations.
Key stakeholder contact for Snr Commercial team contacts (to Director level).
Key supply chain escalation point for customer supply chain contacts up to Director level in UK and
Lead, coach, build and performance manage teams to create a motivated, expert organisation
Lead warehousing and distribution strategy and manage site delivery across the No7BC 3PL global distribution hub and Liz Earle inhouse operations.
Ensure cost focussed and capacity optimised operations to budget and delivering an annual program of cost reduction and waste elimination opportunities.
Work with Boots on optimising UK distribution network and other potential warehousing synergies to improve cost and service.
Actively contribute to the No7 Beauty Company Supply Chain Leadership team helping to drive ever improving performance across the function.
What you'll need to have (our must-haves)
Degree level educated (or equivalent) in business, finance, supply chain or related field
Significant and related experience (health & beauty industry preferred) in Customer Service, Warehousing & 3PL Management with a continuous improvement focus in service and cost
Proven leader able to build and develop motivated teams, and drive cross-functional projects and initiatives
Performance management and strong delivery track record in demand planning, customer service (order management & availability), warehousing and logistics, S&OP / IBP
Budget building and management
Demonstrated capability to deliver change & transformation programs
Project management & process mapping (re-engineering)
It would be great if you also have
SAP / E2Open system experience desirable but not essential
Experience of working as a CPG supplier to Boots UK desirable but not essential
Potential for future growth to Director level or beyond
