In-Store Marketing Specialist, Boots Opticians

Overview:
You’ll work as part of the Boots Opticians Marketing team - an exciting, award-winning team that likes to have fun and get things done. At the heart of Boots Opticians growth plans, we help our customers to See What’s PossibleTM, working with exciting fashion brands and educating customers on the importance of looking after their eye health.
Our In-Store Marketing Specialist is a key role in our Opticians Marketing team, ensuring the customer has a fantastic experience while they’re in our shops. Working within the In-Store Marketing Team, you’ll be delivering at fast pace at the very heart of the customer journey, ensuring clear and engaging value messaging which aligns with other channels. You’ll support the delivery of communications in store from creation to production and delivery, ensuring creative assets are fully aligned with Boots brand principles.
Key Responsibilities:
• Responsible for all creative elements of POS and other in-store marketing materials, ensuring it is designed and handed over to print to be delivered to stores within budget and to timelines
• Work cross-functionally with Trading, Merchandising and Legal to ensure all activity is legally sound and reflective of the Trading priorities
• Working with the rest of the Marketing team to help develop integrated through-the-line campaigns that deliver the key customer goals and KPIs (eye test volume, conversion to purchase, customer satisfaction)
• Develop and execute all store-based communications required to support the company goals covering the trading plan priorities, events, advice and information, NPD/trials, store development programme and local marketing
What you’ll need to have:
• A passion for marketing and a willingness to learn
• Ability to build strong relationships with others and work cross-functionally
• Ability to autonomously manage a project from creative brief to delivery in to stores, gaining buy in, approval along the way
• Ability to brief and critique creative, working with our design agency to ensure best in class creative
• Enjoy working at pace, adjusting to the needs of the business, to meet deadlines
• Motivated, with a ‘can do’ attitude and customer first mind set
• Excellent attention to detail and a high concern for order and quality
• Good problem solving skills
It would be great if you also have:
• Retail or marketing experience
