Are you passionate about helping others and looking to advance your career in the healthcare field? We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our dynamic team here at Boots Digital Health.
About the role
• Respond to patient queries that come through as messages to our service.
• Follow our strict guidelines for advice and guidance given to patients
• Use our secure IT platform for all patient interactions
• Telephone or undertake video consultations when needed
• Attend our training events and take part in clinical meetings
• Maintain your own skills and CPD
What you’ll need to have
• Registration with NMC (RN - adult)
• Experience in a range of areas commonly seen in primary care; such as dermatology, sexual health, travel, women’s health, men’s health, UTI and weight loss amongst others
• You will be a confident practitioner, with a wide scope of practice
• You will be aware of your own limitations and of relevant national guidelines
• You will have experience of consulting with patients and making independent decisions
• You will be able to make decisions promptly and know when to ask for help
• You will have a can- do attitude and be committed to always improving our services.
• You will be a flexible team player who can thrive in our start-up mentality. We have a lot
It would be great if you also have
• Post-graduate certificate in either consultation and assessment; minor illness; general practice nursing or similar
• Experience in general practice or primary care arena
• Previous remote/online consulting experience
