We are seeking a strategic and detail-oriented E-Commerce Merchandiser to join our dynamic team. In this pivotal role, you will leverage data-driven insights to optimize product placements, enhance user engagement, and ultimately drive online sales growth. You will play a crucial role in shaping the digital shopping experience by implementing innovative merchandising strategies and collaborating with various teams to ensure our online presence is both compelling and effective. Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain digital merchandising playbooks and best practices that promote operational excellence across the consumer experience.
Analyse performance metrics and consumer interactions with the data insights team to enhance site content and identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement A/B testing strategies to enhance digital merchandising programs and optimize product presentation, in collaboration with cross-functional teams.
Conduct continuous research on the eCommerce landscape and competitors to identify category trends and growth opportunities.
Manage personalization rules to deliver tailored content to customers, enhancing their shopping experience.
Collaborate with development teams to implement enhancements and new functionalities for merchandising.
Utilise customer segmentation data to tailor merchandising strategies for different audience segments, enhancing relevance and engagement.
Analyse traffic against Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and communicate insights effectively across departments.
Work closely with the Category and Marketing teams to develop strategic merchandising initiatives, such as iconic product collections, to drive sales and enhance the customer journey.
Lead, mentor, and develop the Digital Merchandising Assistants, fostering their skills and enhancing team performance in digital initiatives.

What you’ll need to have
Reporting directly to the Senior Ecommerce Merchandising Manager. You will be joining a team who is passionate about customer experience and driving data led enhancements. Working with stakeholders across User Experience/Research, Conversion Rate Optimisation, SEO, Product Management and Design.
The role also includes line management of two merchandising assistants. Mentoring and supporting each individual to reach their full potential as merchandising specialists.
This is a 12 month fixed term contract.
