Overview:
As part of the Operations Development team, the Implementation Specialist supports the readiness and implementation of key projects into Pharmacy & Central Operations. This will encompass, engaging with the store teams to complete readiness activities, go-live planning, deployment and stabilisation support and transition to BAU.
Key Responsibilities:
• To work flexibly across a wide geography to meet the needs of the learner and the wider business
• Work through a pre-defined implementation checklist to ensure that stores are ready for the transition (coaching Store Leaders to do this where necessary)
• Ensure that appropriate, timely and skilled support is in place for store’s.
• Deal with issues raised locally. Record, monitor and escalate as appropriate
• Assess operational processes and implementation processes. Provide structured feedback via Implementation Manager to enable continual improvement
• Provide regular status reports to the Implementation Manager. Highlight successes and issues appropriately with training etc.
• Manage, monitor, record and report any pre readiness and post go live signoffs.
• To set the standard and expectations of what good looks like for Boots colleagues/leaders, through leading by example and modelling excellence
• To deliver supplementary learning/coaching – to an exceptional standard
• To upskill, motivate and create positive changes in the knowledge, skills, and behaviour of learners through the use of various methodologies and techniques.
What you’ll need to have:
• Strong knowledge of Pharmacy/Store Operations and systems
• Ability to Impact and Influence stores teams including higher level work levels
• Strong communication skills and self confidence
• High attention to detail and focus on delivering to plan and to a high quality
• Self-motivated and ability to work independently
• Strong Engagement and Relationship building skills
• Confident at coaching and facilitator, with the ability to manage groups
• Store leadership experience as a Small Store Manager or Assistant Manager
