The Central Loss Team are responsible for the overall Retail Loss number in our UK stores. We work to support our stores and SOS teams implement cultural change to change behaviours around loss to drive down the number. We also work on over 100 projects a year in our stores, implementing new solutions to reduce loss. The team also produce data for multiple stakeholders to report and analyse the current loss position.

The role will be data focussed, responsible for collating and producing the various data streams required to report loss at all levels from the Senior Leadership Team to our Store Manager population. This role provides loss insights through data analysis, we need to know what is trending and what we can do about it, and always have to be one step ahead.

The role reports into the Retail Loss Manager and will be working alongside a Retail Loss Specialist (Culture and Projects) who is responsible for landing the various loss projects in our stores. The team are part of the wider Retail Loss, Operations and Digital Team within Central Operations who touch upon all aspects of store operational activity.

Key responsibilities:

• Report daily using PowerBI and SAPBW on the retail loss position to all stakeholders

• Analyse loss and sales data to provide insight to the wider team and drive funding decisions

• Create and publish PowerBI reports from SAPBW feeds based on recent trends or business needs

• Maintain and build upon a Retail Loss Database centrally

• Work with the Stores Operation Specialist team to land various cultural projects in stores across the UK such as the Extreme Loss Stores programme

• Communicate the loss position to senior stakeholders and store leadership teams, providing guidance and insight to reduce to overall loss number

What you’ll need to have:

• PowerBI build experience is required including the ability to build PowerBI reports

• Experience of working with and using SAPBW

• Strong communication skills up to and including Senior Leadership level

• Data Analysis experience and the ability to draw trends from data

• High level of detail required, with the ability to prioritise workload

It would be great if you also have:

• Store Management experience at either Assistant Manager or Store Manager level

• A good understanding of the Supply Chain process
