We have a fantastic opportunity for an Optometrist to join our Rotherham store, this is part of a 6 store hub.
Here we have the option for flexible longer days 9-7/7.30pm or 7.5 hour shift starting at a later time.

This is a full time role including weekend work but we are flexible and can alternate weekends if required.

Our Rotherham Parkgate store is a freestanding with Hearing Care and has 2 testing rooms with OCT and 2 Phoropters.

Here we have a fantastic team of 15 with a mobile Dispensing Optician and 2 resident optometrists

Store opening times are;
Monday to Friday:9-8pm
Saturday 9-6pm and Sunday:10-4pm

Transport
Easily accessible by bus and car with free parking there is also a tram station nearby

About the role

As an Optometrist with us you'll be providing excellent customer and patient care. Working alongside the Practice Manager, Optical Teams and Clinical Governance Optometrists. You’ll create a culture where everyone is passionate about doing the right thing.
  • Using your passion for delivering patient care you'll work with colleagues to deliver a positive customer journey.
  • Bringing your vibrant personality into the day to day running of the practice – working with your colleagues to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Building longstanding relationships – not only with colleagues and customers but with healthcare professionals in the local community

What you’ll need to have
  • Fully qualified / soon to be GOC registered Optometrist
  • Additional registration with the relevant NHS body
  • Passion for patient care
