About the role:

A fantastic opportunity to lead a team that sits at the heart of the Boots and No7 Beauty Company organisation. A hands-on leader, you’ll drive creative, inspiring and engaging content and events for team members and press centres around business strategy, priorities and initiatives.

The role reports to the Director of Internal Communications and Content within the Communications, ESG and Archives function, with responsibility for a team of content creators, videographers and designers and an in-house recording and live broadcast studio, to devise, plan and deliver innovative and inspirational content.

Key Responsibilities:

· Working with our Internal Comms, External Comms, ESG and Archive teams to create and deliver high quality communication materials and content to inspire, engage and motivate our people behind our most important initiatives

· Ensuring campaign content is creative, effective, measurable, timely and tailored and fine-tuning the media mix to maximise effectiveness and audience reach

· Aligning with external plans, owning and bringing a structured approach to content creation across all of the company’s channels, ensuring alignment on consistent messaging

· Acting as a trusted advisor and key business partner to the Senior Leadership and Executive teams to provide counsel and coaching on communication deliverables and strategic messaging, including weekly vlogs

· Delivery of key strategic events, including the annual Boots and No7 Beauty Company in-person Leadership Meeting, both in-person and virtual monthly townhalls and SLT updates

· Working closely with our key functional leaders to deliver our key business initiatives e.g. with our reward team to deliver our annual recognition programme of content and events

· Driving business opportunities for organic employee brand activation moments

· Enabling ongoing improvements through the evaluation of the performance of communications activities including KPIs, metrics and return-on-investment evaluations

· Being accountable for managing budget spend on all studio and content activities and demonstrating return through robust measurement and clear impact

· Leading and coaching a team of creative experts, supporting the development of communications best practice and innovation by keeping a finger on the pulse of new trends, technology and use of content.

What you’ll need to have:

· Natural leadership capability, excellent at people management, coaching and developing employees and enabling a positive and proactive team culture

· Experience of content creation, with a keen creative eye, encouraging fresh thinking and new approaches to ‘challenge the norm’

· Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills and the proven ability to serve as a senior counsellor and effective business partner to senior leaders

· A track record of developing and delivering innovative and highly engaging strategic events to achieve tangible outcomes

· A collaborative approach and see where things need to be done

· Ability to work in an ambiguous environment that is regularly changing and thrive under pressure, working at fast pace on multiple projects without compromising quality

· Ability to distil a complex project with clear direction, adapting style and tone of voice to different audiences.
