Boots Opticians have a new vacancy for a full time Accessories Buyer.

About the role

Reporting to the Category & Trading Manager, you will manage the end-to-end management of our Accessories category. This includes creation of category strategies, product portfolio management, and finding incremental margin opportunities.

You’ll also work with our Trading, Supply Chain, and Store teams, and teams within the wider Boots business.

What you’ll need to have

  • Ability to build category plans with a focus on the customer
  • A track record of building strong relationships with internal teams and the external stakeholders
  • Ability to manage and communicate with different stakeholders at various levels, to demonstrate your expertise and decision making

It would be great if you also have

  • Previous experience in a Commercial function
  • Experience in commercial negotiation
  • Proven data analytics skills, using Excel and reporting systems
  • Optical dispensing knowledge/experience
