We have an opportunity for a mobile optometrist to join our Falkirk Boots Store with Hearing care based in the busy town center.

This Mobile role will cover Forth Valley, Fife and Lothian healthboard locations, with Falkirk High Street being the main store.
Falkirk is also one of fantastic stores which is benefiting a brand new store fit out in the coming months of 2024!

Current team is made up of 15 with 2 resident Optometrist, 1 CLO and 1 Pre reg.

This store has 3 testing rooms equipped with OCT and phoropter and runs at 30minute testing times.

Transport: both train stations are within walking distance of the practice, but if you are coming by car we have discounted onsite parking available to shopping center employees, there is also local on street free parking close by.

Store hours are 9-5.30pm Monday - Saturday and 11-5pm on Sundays.

About the role

As an Optometrist with us you'll be providing excellent customer and patient care. Working alongside the Practice Manager, Optical Teams and Clinical Governance Optometrists. You’ll create a culture where everyone is passionate about doing the right thing.

  • Using your passion for delivering patient care you'll work with colleagues to deliver a positive customer journey.
  • Bringing your vibrant personality into the day to day running of the practice – working with your colleagues to ensure everything runs smoothly
  • Building longstanding relationships – not only with colleagues and customers but with healthcare professionals in the local community

What you’ll need to have
  • Fully qualified / soon to be GOC registered Optometrist
  • Additional registration with the relevant NHS body
  • Fluent speaking English
  • Passion for patient care
