Supplier Insights Analyst - 12-month fixed term contract

We’re looking for an energetic, analytical, people person who has the gift of translating data and research into easily understandable insights.

You’ll be joining a high performing team and be responsible for creating insight that directly influences our supplier strategy and relationships.
About the opportunity

The role is focused on bringing supplier insights together into easily digestible reporting. The role will blend new and existing insight, and these will evolve over time as the value is fully understood.

The insights will contextualise suppliers both across the entirety of Boots and deep dive within the key product categories they supply products for. The insight will be created from a variety of internal data and external sources and include both quantitative data and qualitative research.

These insights will be used to shape strategic relationships and also the day-to-day trading relationships intrinsic to retail.

Very much a diverse hands-on role, you’ll be running and developing analytics and insights, whilst building strong relationships with the product category teams and other stakeholders to source their insights and to embed the value of your insights back into our Business.

About you

You’re an innovative problem solver, comfortable working both independently and collaboratively in a team. Excited by taking on responsibility and ownership, looking to create value from data and create the insight and tools to solve business problems.

Your skillset and experience will ideally include:

• Broad thinker and ability to contextualise insights across the entire company.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
• Experience of using retail market research to provide external supplier market context.
• Proven capability of generating actionable insight from combining multiple sources.
• Strong collaboration mindset
• Strong excel and/or SQL background for data manipulation and proficient in powerpoint for data and insight visualisation

Hybrid Working (3 set days in the office)

We offer our Support Office team members a 3/2 hybrid working approach, based upon empowerment, accountability, care, and trust, which includes a mix of remote and office-based working – our set office days are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and WFH days are Monday and Friday.
