About the role:
As the Assistant Product Manager for Soap and Glory Gift you’ll be responsible for delivering gifting collections for our biggest brand UK and globally.
You’ll lead the development of our gift offer, supporting in the creative design and developing our assortment portfolio. You’ll manage the delivery of these plans and the end-to-end product development, from compelling concepts to the finished product.
Key responsibilities:
Supporting the Product Manager to co-create the product innovation strategy, in line with the brand strategy, and translate these into compelling consumer led concepts and gift collections.
· You will build product briefs that meet the brand and gift strategies as well as built on consumer insight.
· You will lead the end-to-end product development from design, range planning and costing to deliver our product plans on time and to budget
· You will lead the wording and artwork approval across all our of SandG gifting range
· You will develop a strong understanding of the consumer and be able to translate macro trends into product detail e.g., packaging, formulation
· You will lead relationships with the cross-functional teams and agency partners to deliver our plans
What you’ll need to have:
· You can show experience in end-to-end product development from concepts to final product delivery, with experience delivering at pace with an FMCG background.
· You can demonstrate experience translating brand product strategies, consumer strategy and insights to create the gift strategy for your respective brand.
· You have experience reviewing and improving product offering and portfolio to maximise value to the business.
· You have a passion for product and can demonstrate knowledge of the Health and Beauty retail market, especially gifting, along with interpreting trends into a product brief and product solutions.
· You are a forward-thinking relationship builder, you can lead teams across global markets and drive change, role modelling new processes for others.
