Product Manager - Accessories (Fixed Term/Secondment)
Full time, 37.5 hours

As a Product Manager for Boots brand & exclusive brands, you will be responsible for delivering the Boots brand product strategy for your category. You will play a pivotal role in the management of the Boots brand product range. The aim is to drive participation growth across the Boots brand. Working in partnership with the sourcing and commercial teams to ensure we are staying ahead of the trends.
Our Boots brand range plays a key strategic role in our value strategy, and driving participation across our portfolio.

About the opportunity

You’ll lead the brand development and drive the thinking on the end-to-end product development to deliver these plans, from creating compelling, consumer-led concepts through to delivering the finished product on shelf or fixture. You’ll work with the team to react fast to changing product trends & consumer needs, identifying opportunities to add value to the business & while meeting customer needs better than ever before.

You’ll work closely with your colleagues across the business, engaging senior stakeholders on our plans

• You will report to the Senior Product Manager Boots Brand Beauty
• You will take ownership of the end to end product development for your brands, from concept creation through to ensuring the on time delivery and sufficiency of the product plans
• You’ll be responsible for mapping market & category trends and opportunities, translating macro trends into each and every element of the product.
• You will have a deep understanding of our product development process, always looking for opportunities to work smarter.
• You will lead the team to deliver best in class best sellers, on time, in full and right first time.
• You will be the key point of contact for marketing, PR, technical, programme, supply, commercial, insights and many more teams – working in collaborative partnership is a key skill, along with prioritising effectively.

About you

If you love beauty products, you’ll love our team! We’d really like for someone who can:

• Demonstrate extensive experience in end to end product development, ideally across hard goods.
• Follow beauty and fashion trends, with a keen interest in what is coming next.
• Comfortable with the more technical aspects of product formulations, artwork, legal tasks, regulatory and safety.
• Articulate with numbers as you’ll need to understand cost prices, exchange rates, margins and business case outputs
• You’re passionate about great design and have experience in briefing and feeding back to agencies
• You are a relationship builder and have experience working in cross functional teams with outstanding feedback
• You’re passionate & thrive on finding new and improved ways of doing things
• Experience working on creating and launching new brands
