Software Tester

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a full time IT Software Tester based on the Isle of Wight working in a dynamic and dedicated team.

About the opportunity

We are looking for a full-time software tester to join our small but busy team to help us deliver “best in class” customer experience on our website and other systems. This is an interesting role and would suit a curious individual who enjoys a challenge and problem solving. It will involve running tests against new and changed features made on the applications (websites etc) and ensuring all business requirements / expectations are met and achieve the necessary quality standards. Duties would include

• Executing manual tests and recording test results, providing summaries of work done.
• Raising software defects providing an appropriate level of detail for others to easily follow
• Providing regular feedback to team leads / members on progress of all assigned tasks

About you

• Are personable and approachable in nature
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Enjoy problem solving and a challenge
• A good overall level of IT competence
• Any previous software testing experience a bonus
