Assistant Social Media Manager

The Boots UK Assistant Social Media Manager is a social media fanatic who thinks in TikTok/Instagram and is aware of the latest formats and trending moments. You would ideally have experience of engaging with social communities through content & conversation and be a native speaker of social media vernacular.

About the opportunity:

• Supporting the Social Media Manager with daily tasks and admin
• Helping to bring to life brand voice in social for the brand with smart, social-first copy and creating content on the fly
• Experience of editing social content/ video editing would be ideal
• Social listening insight and recommendations to activate the brand in culture and connect with the brand’s audience in a meaningful way
• Aiding in development and ownership of content calendars
• Collaboration and development of social content with the team and the Pharm

About you:

• You’ll be a people person with a can-do attitude who is good at building relationships and constantly on the lookout for smarter, faster, more effective ways of doing things.
• You understand the social media landscape and can navigate content briefs and requests.
• Previous brand experience (preferably digital-first retailer)
• Social-first video-editing skills
• Experience in a digital marketing, social-first role/ environment
• A thirst for social media trends and planning
