WBA are seeking an experienced Information Security Incident Response Analyst to join our growing International InfoSec team within WBA. This role has the flexibility to work from either our London, Weybridge or Nottingham offices on a flexible office/home hybrid approach. The Information Security Incident Response Analyst is responsible for all stages of threat detection and remediation by identifying threats at the earliest phase of an attack or compromise and responds appropriately.

You will proactively hunt for hidden and unidentified threats to the organisation’s cyber environment and work with key stakeholders to deliver remediation activities.
You will detect threat actor activity throughout the stage of the cyber kill chain and respond to exploitation and identified risk events to critical systems.

What you’ll be doing

  • Monitor specific cyber threat actors to understand their tactics and techniques and the associated risks to WBA’s services and systems.
  • Utilise data analysis, threat intelligence and cutting-edge security technologies to find unusual behaviour and malicious activity.
  • Track down the malicious agents who are already in a network and removes them from the environment once discovered.
  • Collaborate with interdepartmental teams to help detect new, interesting or unique threats and mitigations based on hunting observations
  • Work with security monitoring tools such as firewalls, data loss prevention, network intrusion detection and antivirus software.
  • Provide subject matter expertise and insight to stakeholders about industry attack trends and defences by developing and maintaining deep awareness and understanding of evolving threats, adversaries and intrusion trends.
  • Provide subject matter expertise to less experienced team members. May participate in teaching and training members of the work team.

About you
  • Cyber experience in at least two of the following: Active threat hunting (open source or commercial tooling), Intrusion analysis, Managed or enterprise information security services, Incident response, Endpoint forensics (Windows, MAC, or Linux), Malware analysis, Penetration testing, Network defence, Threat hunting, Information security consulting
  • Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organisation, in the business community & with vendors.
  • Experience analysing and reporting data in order to identify issues, trends, or exceptions to drive improvement of results and find solutions.
  • Experience with project management (for example: planning, organising, and managing resources to bring about the successful completion of specific project goals and objectives).
