About the opportunity

This role is a Senior Manager level position and is a member of the Capability Leadership team reporting to the Head of Capability for the total business and sits within the wider HR function. This is a new role in the structure in response to a strong change and transformation agenda and recent restructure providing an opportunity for the role holder to shape focus and strategy for the role and have brilliant impact on the organisation.

This role will

• Partner with senior stakeholders across the total organisation to consult on and define strategic capability requirements that deliver the functional agenda including Functional Leaders and HRBPs.
• Develop innovative blended learning solutions including use of digital channels, ensuring that they are accessible for colleagues in a variety of business areas.
• Engage with other capability and talent stakeholders as needed to drive alignment and opportunities for collaboration – i.e. Employability, Talent & Future skills, Leadership development teams etc.
• Scope requirements and deliverables for third party suppliers, managing key relationships to deliver high quality outcomes including strategies for learning and usage engagement, adoption & sustainment.
• Lead a small team of talented Functional Learning Managers, enabling them to define and deliver brilliant learning solutions and supporting their development, growth and engagement in their roles.

About you

You’ll have….
• A great track record of building relationships with a range of stakeholders to consult and diagnose learning needs and create business focused and impactful solutions.
• Strong project management skills including budget management
• Significant experience of partnering, learning design and delivery including blended learning and confidence in a range of learning methodologies and technologies.
• Awareness of change management principles and approaches.
• Commitment to the management, development and engagement of team members
