We’re looking for a New Stores and Interventions Project Co-Ordinator to join our End User Computing Team within our IT department.

Within this role you’ll play a vital role in ensure that our new store openings and major store refits have the correct IT infrastructure in place. As a Project Co-Ordinator you’ll have full end to end responsibility of the implementation of IT hardware and software systems for all new stores and store renovations. You’ll also Co-Ordinate the closure of stores, ensuring that all equipment and networks are closed and returned to our central hub. You’ll also work closely with key stakeholders across the business such as our Estates/Property team, Store Managers and external partners to ensure that our stores are set up and ready to go for our customers.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Delivering IT hardware, network infrastructure and software systems to new Boots stores, relocations, closures and major refits in line with business strategy
  • Managing project budgets and finances, taking financial stewardship to deliver on time and on budget
  • Communicating regularly with core stakeholders and maintaining expectations
  • Champion innovation, embracing new initiatives and technology to help shape deliver excellence
  • Putting our stores first, protecting our key business processes and minimising business disruption enabling the business to operate at their very best
  • Travelling across different sites and offices when required

About you

As part of an exciting and challenging team, you will need to be able to
  • Liaise with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives. Ensuring that the client’s needs are met as the project evolves
  • Engage with stakeholders and managing internal, external and third party relationships
  • Provide reports, status updates and documentation on project stage and progress
  • Have a good working knowledge of store operations, IT infrastructure and stock management
  • Trust your intuition, ability to multi task and foster cross-team collaboration
  • Be able to travel cross country to stores and sites for regular meetings and events
