No7 Beauty Company (No7BC) supply chain has been built off the back of the UK centric Boots UK supply chain and today consists of an increasingly complex blend of different supply chain processes and systems. We have recognised the need to transform our supply chain capability over the next 2 years if we are to continue to provide our existing high standards of customer service, at the same time as enabling our future business growth ambition, and have embarked on an exciting programme of supply chain transformation.

The Supply Chain Operations Manager – MCA will be responsible for managing all MCA packing operations by leading the internal team & managing the external assemblers to produce our gifting portfolio on time & in full whilst maintaining an auditable record of transactions in the SAP system. They will work closely with the Supply Chain Planning & Purchasing team to understand when production requirements change. The role is part of the Supply Leadership Team and reports to the Senior Supply Chain Operations Manager

About the opportunity

• Manage an internal team responsible for all aspects of operational & system activity related to MCA packing activity
• Manage the performance & operational relationship with our 3rd party MCA assemblers to complete timely & accurate productions
• Submit & manage the warehousing & logistics budgets associated with the annual MCA activity
• Ensure our financial year end stock audits are organised & managed in line with finance & Deloitte
• Manage the destruction of our redundant stock with 3rd party waste management companies & the assemblers
• Ensuring our logistics performance between packer & customer warehouses / ex works suppliers is effectively managed & costed
• Work with our internal No7BC global supply teams to ensure shipments of components & finished goods are managed between Asia & US
• Work with our internal No7BC planning & purchasing teams to ensure all changes to our production requirements are effectively communicated & prioritised in line with customer requirements

About you

• Ideally a graduate – preferably in relatable topic to supply chain/business studies.
• Supply experience dealing with high levels of inventory & warehouse budgeting coupled with a sound grasp of sophisticated supply chain processes.
• Strong commercial awareness
• Excellent spoken & written communication skills
• Strong problem solving & numeracy skills
• Competent Excel user with SAP experience
• Ability to take a proactive attitude and work under pressure to tight deadlines
• Strong “customer focus” and cross cultural communication skills.
• Has experience leading a team & forming/maintaining business to business relationships
• Has coached direct reports effectively through introduction of new processes.
• Understanding of the importance of optimising value and the awareness of key drivers within the supply chain.
