Boots has been supporing the nation since March 2020 with respect to offering solutions for Covid Testing. Our in-store services are increasingly popular with our customers and as such we are expanding the team to prepare for the re-opening of travel, the development of new diagnostic proposition and to ensure we meet the high regulatory standards set out by the regulator UKAS.

An Learning and Development Specialist in required to develop training materials to support Covid testing propositions to meet UKAS Standards

About the role

• Development of Training Materials to support Covid Testing
• Development of professional development programmes for laboratory staff and opportunities to participate in scientific and other activities of professional laboratory organizations
• Ensure there are appropriate numbers of staff with the required education, training and competence to provide medical laboratory services that meet the needs and requirements of the users
• Manage ongoing updates to training

About you

• Experience in development of training materials
• Stakeholder Management Skills
• Experience with regulators
• Strong organisational and time management skills
• External Relationship and contract management skills
• Registered Pharmacist or Technician
