Overview of the role:

We are looking for a videography and motion graphics specialist for our new Nottingham-based live streaming studio. Expert in filming and editing high quality, engaging content you will be part of an exciting new team creating content with a digital first, publishing mindset to engage and inspire our audiences.

About the opportunity:

Reporting to the Head of Studio and working alongside a content creator and graphic designer, you will be producing video content that meets the requirements of the specific communications brief, including taking responsibility for graphics and sound, creative treatment and inspirational art direction.

• Working collaboratively within the studio team, sharing ideas, problem solving, and participating in the development of project briefs. Managing several conflicting projects at once with no impact on the speed and quality of output.
• Developing storyboards and pitch documents to answer client briefs, bringing them to life within agreed specifications and timelines, while building excellent stakeholder relationships.
• Co-ordinating your shoots, preparing equipment - single camera, lighting and sound - liaising with talent on waivers etc. and planning creative direction.
• Using your post-production skills in editing, grading, colour correcting, transcribing, adding titles/graphics/motion graphic elements to deliver workable solutions across a variety of media.
• Producing high quality photography visuals for events and other ad hoc communications projects.

About you:

• Demonstrable experience as a videographer, editor and motion graphics specialist, with a track record in creating corporate content as well as short form social formats.
• Considerable post-production skills, particularly using Adobe Creative Cloud - Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects and Lightroom. Interest or experience in using Cinema 4D’s 3D animation software preferred.
• Excellent understanding of audio - mixing tracks, looping music, and utilising transitions - to tell a story and meet the desired tone and mood for each project, including handling sound recording and editing for podcasts.
• Demonstrable track record in photography for corporate events, brand shots and team member headshots. Advanced knowledge of DSLR cameras and lenses.
• A degree or equivalent in video/digital design. Experience in live streaming and encoding an advantage.
