We’re looking for a junior digital designer with strong coding experience (HTML5, CSS, Git, Javascript/jQuery). This role would support our Front End Developer and wider Digital Experience Team with day to day design and code changes. Using digital design, and content management system (CMS) expertise to design, create and deliver assets/ pages for boots.com and boots.ie, to deliver the best customer experience to support our trading and marketing plans.

Your Responsibilities
Requirements
• Supporting Digital design production and build of campaign assets for Boots.com UK and ROI sites
• Supporting the Front End Developer to create and update solutions across boots.com
• Work cross-functionally with key stakeholders to manage end to end asset and page production
• Ensure assets are in line with our digital style guide and the Boots brand, and fully integrated with marketing campaigns
• Work with the project management workflow tool to ensure all projects are delivered right first time, on time

A bit about you…
• 1-2 years experience in working with HTML5, CSS, SASS, Version control (Git), Javascript/jQuery
• Experienced in using Adobe Creative Suite (in particular Photoshop), and experience using a CMS (Coremedia or Adobe Experience Manager would be ideal)
• Digital UI skills and experience of designing for a commercial site – an understanding of UX and SEO would be very helpful
• Customer focussed
• High attention to detail with the ability to be flexible in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent organisation and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines

IMPORTANT NOTE: This role requires regular working outside normal offices hours. This typically involves working from 5am a few times a month, occasional weekend working particularly at peak times and occasional overnight working e.g. for major launches. In general you will be expected to be flexible with your working hours to meet business and customer needs.
