Operations Manager - Pharmacy Services and Speciality Items

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Operations Manager within the Pharmacy Operations team. Supporting and implementing new and leading ongoing improvements to our pharmacy processes across the business, this fast-paced function builds great relationships with our pharmacy teams to ensure they can meet the ever-changing needs of our patients and customers. This role will play a key part in how we shape the delivery of our Pharmacy Services and Specialty Items business.

About the opportunity

You will lead the team responsible for all operational processes in support of our Pharmacy Services & Specialty Items businesses, ensuring that the patient, customer & colleague experience is at the heart of what we do. You will support our stores teams ensuring the latest operational guidance enables them to meet our patients needs and drive business growth. You will deliver these accountabilities by working collaboratively across the Support Office and with field & store leadership teams.

• Lead the team to deliver on the accountabilities described above for Pharmacy Services, Care Services & Medisure Items
• Work collaboratively with colleagues in the Support Office & Stores organisation to share knowledge and experience to help resolve issues, improve current processes, land new processes and widen expertise across the various teams
• Adopt project management principles when leading projects including business case set up and KPI deliverables
• Ensuring queries are responded to in a timely manner and control of day to day communications are followed through the correct channels
• Work closely with operational field teams to share insights and support stores
• Provide comprehensive, accurate and up to date advice and information to our pharmacy teams on operational processes for efficient delivery of Pharmacy Services, Care Services & Medisure Items

About you

• Proven record of highly effective leadership, engagement and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to new situations and think outside the box with a continual improvement mindset
• Able to seek simplification in a complex environment and manage key stakeholders across relevant parts of the business, including stores
• Planning & project management skills
• An ability to work to demanding schedules
