Mid-weight Graphic Designer, B-Hive marketing studio

We’re looking for a mid-weight Designer to join the Design Team in the B-Hive, our award-winning internal creative & production agency, based in Nottingham. Working at the heart of the B-Hive you will have the opportunity to work with numerous stakeholders across the business, creating a wide range of design elements & assets from emails & web pages, through to social and campaign assets for a range of digital platforms.

About the opportunity:

The designer will work as part of the Nottingham design team to:

• Design ideation for Response To Briefs for key emails and other comms
• Providing leadership on evolving design styles for multiple clients and customer demographics
• Creating a wide range of beauty, health, pharmacy and wellness creative in Boots style and tone of voice
• Take design briefs from concept to completion for a wide range of assets
• Work within different Brand styles to deliver work with the correct look and feel for each client
• Work as part of the wider team to ensure consistency of quality and deliver to deadline


About you.

The ideal candidate is likely to have some or all of the following:

• Able to demonstrate graphic design skills with a strong portfolio
• Excellent attention to detail and a strong eye for visual composition
• Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines
• Experience pitching ideas to clients and creating response to brief presentations
• At least five years design experience either in an agency or in-house
• Experience leading design projects
• Excellent communication skills
• Graphic Design Degree or similar creative education
• Confident using the Adobe Creative Suite including, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign and Adobe XD. Illustration and other creative skills are desired but not essential
• Flexible and enjoy working in a fast pace, changing environment with the ability to multi-task and work to tight deadlines
• A desire to work within a team, giving and receiving constructive feedback and direction
• A keen interest in retail, specifically the beauty and health industry
