Delivery Manager – Customer Platform

About the opportunity


• Leading planning, demand management, capacity management and estimation activities for domain within the customer platform. Ensure consistent, visible pipelines underpinned by accurately estimated projects/programmes and mapped to the 3YP.
• Alignment of the technology plan with the business change plan, managing stakeholder expectations and building strong relationships across OneIT and the business.
• Drive the end-to-end delivery of projects across a domain within the customer platform within timescale, cost and quality criteria.
• Lead, manage, motivate, coach and inspire a matrix of Boots IT and partner colleagues to build strong, capable, dynamic technology teams.
• Financial management of project budgets and ensuring good governance across a domain within the customer platform.

About you

• Experience in managing the successful delivery of multiple IT projects within a dynamic, retail environment.
• Skilful communicator with excellent stakeholder management, negotiation and diplomacy skills.
• Expertise in multiple IT project delivery methodologies and processes, including a solid understanding of Agile.
• Experienced leading large, delivery teams distributed across horizontal functions and geographies.
• Experience negotiating and constructing large commercial agreements with partners and ensuring suppliers effectively deliver to contractual commitments.
