Be part of a team that is responsible for shaping and delivering the future vision for healthcare services within Boots. This is an extremely exciting time to be joining the Pharmacy Services Team and presents an opportunity to lead a team responsible for the delivery of core NHS and private in-store services as well as the Hospital’s agenda at Boots.

Day-to-day, this role is accountable for leading the delivery of the commercial pharmacy strategy across our existing services portfolio and actively shaping the future services agenda both internally and externally.

Key Responsibilities:

•Delivery of the in-year ‘Profit & Loss’ for core pharmacy services and Hospitals, developing and setting 3-year plan ambitions
•Accountable for influencing and inputting in to the healthcare services strategy for the near and future-term
•Full autonomy to spend the costs budget to achieve the target revenue and gross profit budget, and also manage the 3-year Capex spend on initiatives to drive growth ambitions
•Trade existing services business on a daily, weekly and monthly basis making timely use of the available levers
•Optimise processes and customer journeys, as well as the design of new services, for enhanced customer, patient and colleague experience and commercial gain

A bit about you:

•Experienced background in Pharmacy and Healthcare both internally & externally
•Strong skills in commercial acumen and negotiation
•Excellent track record in stakeholder management with ability to impact and influence senior-level individuals
•Creative and lateral thinking for capitalising on market opportunities
•Working knowledge of NHS structures and the political agenda and direction impacting pharmacy
•Leading a team through significant change and ambiguity whilst still delivering a high growth agenda
