As the Cloud Process, Governance, and Strategy Lead, you will be responsible for the Cloud Centre of Excellence business processes and drive the achievement of the cloud strategy. You will work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to develop, communicate, and maintain the cloud strategy. You will drive a realistic implementation roadmap that reflects the business context, technology needs, current cloud capabilities, implementation dependencies, and timeframes.

You will oversee the development of business focused KPIs, communicating progress and resolving issues to achieve business objectives.

You will be an excellent communicator, able to translate the technical processes, risks, impacts and results to senior management, financial teams, and technologists and will be a key influencer on strategic decisions that affect the business on a long-term basis.

Key Responsibilities

• You will define and optimize processes within the Cloud Center of Excellence to achieve the cloud strategy objectives efficiently, developing business processes, metrics working collaborative with cloud operating committees to achieve business outcomes.
• Partner with business and technical teams to drive the achievement of cloud strategy business objectives. Create and manage a realistic implementation roadmap.
• Translates complex ideas, technology, and programs into alternatives for senior management and operational steering committee decision making. You will perform as a key influencer on decisions that affect the business on a long-term basis.
• Consolidates KPIs metrics and scorecards to achieve industry best practices for cloud adoption, transformation, and operations.
• Develops short- and long-range product and service strategies and plans. Oversees the execution of operating plans for specified area of responsibility.
• Directs through others who mentor, coach and evaluate their responsive teams and develop employees through on-boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; builds and maintains employee morale and motivation; ensures the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies; fosters a diverse and inclusive workplace.

A bit about you…

• You can demonstrate significant experience leading complex Software Engineering and Architecture initiatives. You will have experience of leading on similar transformational change, migrating a business from the traditional model to that of the Cloud.
• You can demonstrate where you have prompted cultural change and mind set to take full advantage of Cloud technology, and will be considered a thought leader in this space.
• You can drive simplification of processes through automation
• You will have experience of managing the infrastructure changes resulting in a transformation programme to the Cloud, including the financial management such as budgeting and capital costs.
• Experience with cloud strategy, security, cloud adoption patterns and tools. `
• Experience with various enterprise applications and IT services, as well as software development, compliance and security, and IT operations disciplines.
• Knowledge of cloud operations models with experience implementing best practices or suggested improvements.
• Experience suggesting competitive and innovative technical decisions, obtaining client buy-in and delivering on commitments
