Business Introduction Assistant

Supporting the Business Operations Specialist in understanding key issues and ensuring good handover of new projects to the business. Liaise with the business and work cross-functionally within the Scrum teams to understand the requirements of specific projects, making sure the new features are fit for purpose and improve the customer experience.

• Supporting the Business Introduction Assistant Manager in understanding the product backlog priorities and the work coming through the development teams, liaising with the boots.com teams and cross-functionally in the development process to understand the requirements of specific projects, giving input in meetings where required
• Keeping the Business introduction Assistant Manager updated with developments within the Scrum teams and supporting the wider Boots.com team with any issues found during day-to-day activities including out of hours support
• Working with the boots.com teams to test new features and multi variant tests and support the go live planning, ensuring it is aligned with all other activity on boots.com/ie
• Regularly reviewing the Boots websites across multiple browsers and devices to check and ensure the customer experience is consistently the best it can be
• Accountable for understanding the many different systems and tools that are required to support Boots.com releases and testing

About you

• You will have an inquiring, analytical mind, great attention to detail, and passion for the business
• You will enjoy change, and have the personal strength and confidence to ride the highs and lows of a dynamic business
• You’re a self-starter. You will possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, can build strong relationships, both internally and externally
• Problem solving, a structured approach and a desire to improve business processes will be some of your core skills
• You will be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, have an interest in e-commerce websites and ideally (have experience in) experience of web-based testing and agile methodologies.
