Head of Global Regulatory Affairs

An exciting and rare opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast growing beauty business and to lead a team of world-class regulatory experts. As Head of Regulatory Affairs, you will be the Responsible Person for our portfolio of cosmetic products and accountable for developing and executing the regulatory strategy which underpins the No7 Beauty Company brands in all markets.

This is a high profile, fully global role which involves collaboration with colleagues in most markets including EU, USA and China; as well as a vast array of external and internal stakeholders

The Head of Global Regulatory Affairs must be able to leverage a broad internal and external network to ensure a robust regulatory horizon scanning process is in place to enable No7 Beauty Company to maximise the benefit of new & evolving policy/legislation changes.

About the opportunity

This role will provide you with the opportunity to lead key regulatory strategies which underpin the brands and product portfolio across all markets.

Reporting into the Director of Quality, Safety, Sustainability, Regulatory and Claims, you will have direct leadership of a team comprising of regulatory managers, regulatory associates and chemicals specialists, based in different geographies.

You will be accountable for developing and executing the regulatory strategy in line with the brand and product development strategies for No7 Beauty Company product portfolios. This includes new market entry to support the global growth ambition of No7 Beauty Company.

You will be the key point of contact for regulatory bodies, authorities and key external stakeholders/trade bodies building strong networks, identifying risks and opportunities and lobbying where appropriate to protect No7 Beauty Company brand equity.

The Head of Regulatory is responsible for owning the internal and external horizon scanning processes to ensure external regulatory/policy changes are bridged and embedded into day to day business activities.

As a senior business leader, you will be expected to provide lead and develop a result driven and high performing team who excel in regulatory compliance. Whilst encouraging a entrepreneurial mindset, working collaboratively with key internal business customers e.g. brand, research, supply, and product development teams.
You will also be responsible for the global chemical management across the No7 Beauty Company product portfolio.

About you

• Must have 10 years + experience in global regulatory affairs, preferably in a CPG or brands development environment.
• A proven track record of leading and developing a high performing team.
• Great communication skills; coupled with the ability to influence and develop positive stakeholder relationships.
• Have a proactive, can do attitude to be resolution driven.
