What you’ll be doing day to day.

You will develop and drive the Resourcing portfolio for Colleague, Pharmacy, Leadership and Support office roles across the Republic of Ireland. As a key brand ambassador you will lead and inspire the Resourcing Team to ensure all resourcing activity is proactive and seamless across the Division. You will be responsible for diagnosing recruitment needs based on business growth initiatives, internal movement and external turnover and develop creative resourcing solutions that attract and recruit the “Best People, Best Place, Best Time”, ensuring the delivery of No 1 for Customer and Patient Care.

How will you do it?

Working in collaboration with the HR Business Partner you will collate information on the region, building this data into the Regional manpower plan to identify talent and aid succession. You will coach hiring managers on the effective use of corporate recruitment tools ensuring smooth candidate care through our website

While working closely with the Healthcare Academy Trainers you will be responsible for landing the recruitment of talent for our Professional Programmes ensuring a robust pipeline of pharmacists of the future.

Working closely with the U.K. central resourcing teams to ensure our recruitment tools are fit for purpose, simpler for stores and deliver the best candidates. Your feedback on process and tools will support and improve efficiency, drive simplicity and influence the development of resourcing initiatives.

Using MI and insights you will drive consistency across the region and ensure that everyone at every stage of the candidate journey is clear about the part they play in delivering legendary candidate care.

Liaise with the Capability Team to ensure talented colleagues are supported through effective training and development, in order to feed the talent pipeline and providing an internal career path. You will build strong and effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels within the business to ensure the business needs are met.

While managing our Recruitment social media channels you will have a deep understanding of what our colleagues and customers like about Boots and our brand.

What you’ll need to have.

You will have 5+ years in HR ideally with 2 years’ experience in the Resourcing domain. With significant commercial experience you will have experience working in a fast paced and dynamic working environment. CIPD accredited with third level qualification in HR or Business you will also have
  • Strong analytical skills and data reporting
  • Excellent commercial awareness
  • Proven expertise in recruitment, forecasting and manpower planning
  • Ability to influence at all levels within the business with high impact
  • Knowledge and understanding of the regulatory and legal environment in relation to Recruitment
  • Self -motivated with ability to operate independently, work proactively and achieve optimal results
