WBA have launched WBA Digital & IT Solutions (Ireland) Limited. This exciting new CoE will manage the software service platform offering for the Pharmacy teams and will run software on a Software as a Service model.
The creation of this Center of Excellence allows WBA to establish an innovation hub for additional intellectual property projects in the future and now an opportunity for an HR Manager to join and shape the Pharmacy Digital CoE.

About the opportunity

The purpose of this role is to act as a partner to the General Manager and their leadership team to support the build and development of a world class Digital CoE in Dublin. They will support the HR Director in translating knowledge of a fast-growing technology business into a workforce strategy that ensures the right people, with the right capabilities are in the right place.
The HR Manager will provide guidance and support to the Digital CoE leadership team. They will support the HR Director to set up the HR operation for the new division in Dublin ensuring relevance to the local market and maintaining alignment to WBA Technology where appropriate. The role will have end to end HR responsibility for team members in Dublin across Compensation and Benefits, Payroll, Diversity and Inclusion, Learning and Development, Talent Management and Organizational Design/Development. They will assess requirements; building and developing the HR offering for the CoE, utilising existing HR WBA infrastructure as required. You will be responsible for;
Establishing and maintaining a professional and collaborative relationship/network with the wider WBA organisation, obtaining a deep understanding of the organisation and its internal goals and processes.
In collaboration with the Technology Leadership Team, delivering the people strategy for creating / expanding the CoE.
Partnering with technology leaders guiding on the change agenda (structural and cultural) for building the CoE function in Dublin.
Providing accurate HR advice and support to leaders in relation to all aspects of employment relations, including labour relations, grievances, employment law and payroll.
Working in conjunction with the HR Director and WBA HR to develop the appropriate approach to policies and practices towards Learning and Development, Diversity and Inclusion, Compensation and Benefits, Performance Management, Talent Management and Leadership Development.
Continually reviewing current operating model and designs to ensure maximum efficiencies, value and performance.
Leading the delivery of HR policies and practices; complying with best practice and legislation whilst effectively supporting business goals and maintaining a flexible, innovative performance culture.
Providing timely and effective coaching to all leaders on HR processes and programs.
Leading on all local hiring requirements, working with in-house recruiters OR external partners in developing job descriptions, managing candidate experience and attracting the best technology talent.

About you

Significant experience in a HR Manager position where you’ve had full end to end responsibility for the HR function and it’s processes; Talent Management, Payroll, Compensation and Benefits, Learning and Development, Performance Management and Organizational Design.
Experience in Partnering, coaching and supporting senior leaders.
Experience of supporting scaling/start up business activities, preferably in a technology environment.
Ability to build strong relationships; acting as an uncomfortable companion and challenging the status quo.
Experience of working within, and the ability to, navigate a complex matrix environment.
Experience implementing change activities that drive innovation, enhance employee relations and operational excellence.
Experience leading and supporting organizational development, design and transformation activity.
