The Programme Manager, will be accountable for leading the development and delivery of seasonal periods of marketing activity across all channels as a programme.
Responsible for embedding methodology, tools and techniques, within an Agile environment, creating a delivery and learning governance that helps to keep teams focused on delivering value against the organisational outcomes, while remaining creative and dynamic.
About the opportunity:

The role reports to the Senior Marketing Transition Manager, who is accountable for the end to end marketing governance process, through which the BUK Marcomms plans are delivered to customers, patients and stores.
The role will also work closely with the Senior Customer and Commercial Planning team, who oversee the full annual planning cycle.

Fast paced and extremely passionate, the marketing delivery team, help to drive our success and keep our customers coming back for more. We ensure our plans bring to life relevant, inspiring and innovative communications, promoting our latest products and great value offers that help our customers to feel good. We oversee the right first time delivery of our plan, across key online, instore, owned, earned and paid for channels, delivered through agile.

• Accountable for managing the end to end marketing governance process for seasonal periods of marketing activity across all channels
• Utilises agile ways of working in programme set up and management, and drives agile mindset through the squads
• Creates and runs critical paths, RAG reports and develops further documentation required to support programme management
• Proactively seeks out and surfaces recommendations to adapt the ‘Marketing Governance’ process to balance the use of agile principles and the need to hit key operational deadlines
• Identifies and recommends mitigation for any challenges to on time and to brief seasonal delivery, escalating to the seasonal Chief Product Owner
• Works collaboratively with the wider Marketing delivery team, sharing learnings to drive consistency of process across seasons and continuous improvement
• Owns the set up and running of all meetings within the seasonal programme they are managing, including forward action planning and review

• Responsiveness and adaptability
• Professional programme management qualification or experience (3 years+) – desirable
• Experience in working with flexible agile methodologies – desirable
