WBA have launched WBA Digital & IT Solutions (Ireland) Limited, this exciting new CoE will manage the software service platform offering for the Pharmacy teams and will run software on a Software as a Service model.
The creation of this Center of Excellence allows WBA to establish an innovation hub for additional intellectual property projects in the future and now an opportunity for a Product Portfolio Imple-mentation & QA Director to join and shape the Pharmacy Digital CoE.

About the opportunity

Building strong and effective relationships with stakeholders, customers and partners, you will be responsible for the strategic direction of the CoE Product Portfolio, manage the demand, mitigate risks and influence implementation plans and budgets as well as build a successful QA team to support the CoE and ensure it meets and exceeds high standards. You will be responsible for:
• strategy, process, budget and resources of the CoE Product Portfolio, implementation and QA function to achieve its strategic and operational goals
• utilizing technical and industry experience to provide program oversight; working across all functional and technical areas to ensure consistent delivery and maximum profitability
• ensuring the products meet customer and regulatory requirements; have clear capability and development roadmaps are signed off by the appropriate approval board to support the business strategy.
• Setting up and running an intake process for customer demand for new product and capabilities, run prioritization processes and develop detailed product roadmaps through contracted partner support.

About you

• Significant experience of managing software product portfolio’s
• Experience overseeing large scale projects spanning multiple geographies, providing leadership, governance and management control
• Experience of being part of a scaling/start up business; either standalone or as part of a wider corporate organization
• Experience overseeing QA to ensure functionality and correct any errors identified within the product
• Corporate Governance; laws and regulations, governance best practices, board dynamics, business ethics and risk oversight
