An exciting opportunity has arisen in our Pharmacy Supply Team for a Data Analyst.

The Pharmacy Supply Team sit under the direction of Supply Chain, our key focus is supporting stores in understanding how they manage their systems to reduce overstocks in store and ensuring that stock is available to meet the demand of our customers.

The role has lots of different responsibilities and you will part of a team who are driving the way with a new Pharmacy Replenishment System (Columbus).

About the opportunity

• Development of key reports shared with stores and senior stakeholders (Dashboard report, Owings report, etc), including training of BAU team in the day to day usage.
• Recommend potential enhancement with regards to Business Information (BI) infrastructure (data tables) needed to produce the reports.
• Set up and carry out complex analysis in order to help the understanding and optimisation of the pharmacy replenishment system to ensure great availability whilst delivering the stock optimisation ambitions. Drive insights, patterns, trends that support improvement in Pharmacy Supply KPI’s.
• Development of new SOPs/policies/processes/tools/methodologies to support the continuous improvement agenda of the team
• Provide solutions to key pharmacy supply questions/exceptions.
• Work collaboratively with the existing supply team and different departments to support any other development activities where appropriate.

About you

• You can demonstrate previous experience of working with large data sets and analysing these
• You will have experience in the following, with focus in data manipulation/analysis:SQL, Excel, Visual Basic, Power BI, Columbus
• Excellent analytical, numerical and problem solving skills, with focus on data analysis
• Advanced Excel skills, such as the ability to perform V-Look Ups and pivot tables, is required for this role
• Strong communication, confident in articulating findings to a vast array of stakeholders.
Highly flexible and adaptable approach to work with good prioritisation skills.
Proactive with a positive outlook, working effectively as part of a team and on own initiative
