Overview of the role:

We are looking for an enthusiastic Brand Manager to support our Soap & Glory and Your Good Skin brands in our Rest of World markets, including China, Thailand, The Gulf and Australia. The role is a maternity cover, with an option to be based in either Nottingham or London, with a typical 37.5-hour week.

About the opportunity:

The Rest of World Brand Manager is primarily responsible for ensuring our Rest of World markets have the right strategies, plans and assets in place to deliver strong performance and delight our consumers around the globe. The role reports into our Global Senior Marketing Manager, Soap & Glory.

You will be responsible for:

o Connecting teams: Being a key point of communication across global, regional and market teams. This will include leadership of the monthly Brand Operational Meetings with our market teams, being their main global brand point of contact, and helping to connect cross-functional teams to enable effective and efficient delivery of our strategy and plans.

o Brand Strategy: Representing the voice of Rest of World to feed into global strategies (including brand, communications and product), and supporting the adaptation of strategies into locally relevant versions for our biggest markets.

o Marketing Toolkits and Content: Managing local market campaign and content needs, helping to feed in local needs to the global brand managers, ensuring market teams have access to assets to enable local adaptation and - where required – creating locally relevant toolkits and content.

o Product & NPD: Ensuring markets have the right product information (claims, copy, assets) for new and existing products, engaging markets on New Product Development (NPD), working with account managers to extending listings where relevant, and owning the joined-up global and regional NPD plans.

o New Market Launches: Ensuring market teams are set up for success with new market launches, by supporting with new market toolkit requirements (all of the strategies and guidelines required to launch in a new market) and providing (or creating where relevant) new launch campaign materials and content.

About your experience:

You will have:

o A passion for beauty, consumer products and brands, with the drive and resilience to achieve excellent results for our brand and consumers

o Experience in a marketing or account manager role, with understanding of how to develop brand strategies, an ability to work effectively with consumer insight, and (ideally) experience of managing content creation through agency partners

o Experience of working across multiple markets, understanding the importance of different cultures and market needs

o Excellent communication and relationship management skills, with an ability to build collaborative relationships and to manage stakeholders across different levels of seniority, different functions and markets

o Super organisation skills, with an ability to manage multiple complex projects and markets, navigating through ambiguity and change, whilst driving for simplicity
