The Importance of Your Role

As the external healthcare environment continues to change, we need to change to keep up with what our customers need and expect at Boots.

What You’ll be Doing Day to Day

You’ll be working really closely with your Area Managers and Head of Customer Experience along with other partners to support our store leaders and their teams to ensure they deliver Professional Standards and truly patient-centred care. You’ll spend most of your time in stores, coaching, developing and challenging, and leading for Patient Safety.

How Will You Do It?

You’ll be working independently out in the field, partnering a specific region. You will lead the agenda on Patient Safety by engaging and challenging the Regional Team’s thinking on Patient care. As the Professional Standards Pharmacist, you’ll be the link between Pharmacy Office and the delivery of our Professional Standards, so every day will be different.

You’ll need to have a great understanding of Pharmacy and the local healthcare environment, so for this role, you will need to be a Pharmacist for at least 3 years.. Building great relationships with others is critical as you will need to have impact and influence many stakeholders, so we will be looking for strong evidence of this. You should also be an excellent communicator (verbal and written) able to demonstrate a real passion for Patient Centred Care, and exemplary Professional Standards.
