Lead Business Analyst - Digital

We are looking for a dynamic Lead Business Analyst to join our Digital IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing demand across the Digital Customer Platforms.

About the opportunity

The Lead Business Analyst leads the effort to work with the Customer Platform business owners to identify and define business requirements. Engaging with the business to understand their needs and translates this into requirements that our engineers can use to develop and improve solutions. Act as an agent of change who uses different analysis techniques to support business change activities and help the business to get the most value from technology.

• Coordinate and control the flow of work into our IT teams, managing demand from initial idea through to the validation phase via the established front door process
• Manage and maintain relationships with key stakeholders (both business & technical) to shape, influence and inform strategic direction
• Engage with business experts to understand current business processes and/or transitional and future requirements
• Drive and challenge the business on their assumptions of how they will successfully execute their plans
• Input into the 3-year planning process ensuring the prioritisation of projects in the operating plan and assisting with resource planning

About you

• Have strong facilitation, communication, listening, coaching and presentation skills, with experience of running results driven workshops
• Able to work at a conceptual level where business objectives and requirements may not be well-defined
• Have effective and productive stakeholder management skills
• Be able to work across all levels of stakeholders and third parties within a commercial environment
• Previous experience as a lead business analyst including managing other business analysts and third party partners to deliver a successful outcome.
