Senior Programme Manager - IT

As part of the Loyalty and Personalisation delivery team, the Senior Programme Manager for the Customer Value Proposition will be accountable for orchestrating activities across a large strategic initiative in a matrix format across multiple areas.

This role plays a pivotal role in the delivery of a strategic pillar of the Boots transformation. This is a great opportunity to join a high performing team at the forefront of IT initiatives for Boots Loyalty and Personalisation agenda, but spanning multiple other platforms including Digital, Healthcare and Retail.

About the opportunity
• Overseeing and facilitating project managers to ensure deliveries feeding into the Customer Value Proposition (CVP) are delivered on-plan.
• Leading programme and steering boards to ensure all senior stakeholders remain appraised around this key strategic iniative.
• Working closely with Lead Solution Architects to ensure all projects contribute to a cohesive CVP solution.
• Leading programme level Risks and Issue management across projects within the scope of CVP.
• Managing and tracking finances.
• Adhering to project management frameworks and standards within the team

About you
• Strong Programme and Project Management experience in a matrix environment
• Significant delivery leadership experience.
• Excellent communications and stakeholder management experience with an ability to simplify, explain, communicate
• Confident leader with gravitas that is comfortable operating across senior stakeholder groups
• Dynamic Programme Manager able to work under pressure in fast moving environments.
• Experience implementing coherent governance, risk and stakeholder management frameworks.
• Commercial and strategic thinking.
• Excellent relationship building, negotiating and networking skills, able to engage and influence senior stakeholders.
• Structured and organised.

• Experience of Waterfall & Agile methodologies
